We help community members with Direct Placement, Career Counseling and Training/Classes.

The JCCGCI Workforce Program was created to help community members of all ages and career stages in Crown Heights,Boro Park, Williamsburg, Gravesend and Far Rockaway to start or improve their career, get training and classes to help improve their skills, get high-level career counseling — and of course, jobs.

CROWN HEIGHTS CAREER ASSESSMENT PROGRAM

The Crown Heights Career Assessment Program provides targeted, culturally-sensitive employment services that guide participants toward a career path based on their aptitude and interests. We’ll assist with job searches and help you perfect your resume and interview skills. When applicable, we also subsidize the cost of accredited vocational training and certain college courses and provide direct job placement assistance.

Crown Heights Career Hub

The Crown Heights Career Hub was designed to help improve the quality of life and financial well-being of the Crown Heights Jewish community and their families.

 The program is directed by Neil Schwerd, under the guidance of Virginia Cruickshank, who together bring a combined 30 years of workforce development experience. Shirit Gold, resident of Crown Heights, brings her job coaching and administrative background to assist our initiative as well.
